: SimplyTech Pune: Hands-on Application Development using TDD in Java
Overview
TDD always works great for all. However, it comes with a common myth that, “TDD should be used in small projects, involving enough team force but won’t scale for large projects involving 100’s of people”. Keeping this in mind, we are planning our second meetup, that will cover the theoretical approaches, and later turn them into "hands-on" reality.

The session would focus on:
- An introduction to TDD
- Why TDD, followed by advanced TDD essentials explaining how to evolve a maintainable design when doing TDD
- Writing tests in JUnit
- The 4 A’s
- Red-Green-Refactor-Commit

Moving from the “why” to the “how to”, the theoretical concepts we have discussed, will come to life as we build an app in real time using TDD in Java.
