Software Crafter, Journey-Level (Freelancer)
For support in ongoing projects, we are looking for a Software Crafter, Journey-Level (Freelancer) in Pune, India.
What you will do
Guided by experienced software craft masters, you will work on different applications for a large variety of clients. The projects include, but are not limited to:
- Embedded devices for IoT development
- Desktop applications
- Backend (Microservices as well as Monoliths)
- Frontend (Web, Mobile)
Some of the technologies you will use are Android, C, Java, Kotlin, Linux, React, Spring, TypeScript. Your first projects with us would most likely be around Java and Kotlin.
We expect
- At least two years of experience in Java or a similar ecosystem/environment (C#, Go, Kotlin, PHP, Ruby, TypeScript, etc).
- You have a great interest in technology.
- You have a solid understanding of HTTP and multi-tier architectures.
- You have a structured and reasoned approach to thinking and communication.
- You understand algorithms, data structures, and programming paradigms.
- You can explain and apply the fundamental concepts of Structured Programming, Object-Oriented Programming, and Functional Programming.
- You are proficient and versed in at least 2 programming languages.
- You are eager to learn and follow the guidance of an experienced software craft master.
- You want to deliver high-quality work that excels on all levels.
- You can work effectively and efficiently in a disciplined environment with strict standards regarding quality.
Extra points
- You engage yourself in social causes to make the world a better place.
- You already know TDD, Clean Code, SOLID principles, and functional programming.
- You have worked with JUnit and Cucumber or equivalent frameworks (NUnit, SpecFlow, Godog, etc).
- You know Git, HTTP, REST, Docker
- You know G Suite, Linux, KDE, and IntelliJ IDEA.
- You love teaching and have the skills to share your knowledge with other people through professional training.
- You have worked on microservices with Spring and Spring Boot.
- You understand agile software development beyond the facade of Scrum Master certifications.
- You know Extreme Programming and DevOps.
