About
Please Note: The Zoom link would be available on Meetup.com before the event.
A lot of time in software development projects is not spent on the development of new code, but the maintenance and extension of existing code. The software craftspeople at Nelkinda understand the importance of maintainable code for the success of any software development project. Clean code reduces cost and effort for maintenance.
During this meetup, Abdulcelil Cercenazi will walk the audience through the refactoring of some big chunks of ugly legacy code and then it is turned into a set of pure, clean functions with an emphasis on OOP design principles and use unit testing to verify the solution. This will be interspersed with questions, discussions, and explanations about various approaches.
Demo
You will be walked through the Tennis-Refactoring-Kata from Emily Bache's Kata example
